Industry has been one of the main activity lines of the Kopuzlar Group of Companies since 1985. The group, with its history dating back to the historical leather factories in Kazlıçeşme and its contributions to the development of Turkish industry in subsequent decades, has become an important actor in the sector.
The group, which played a pioneering role in the moving of leather factories out of the city in the 90's and the establishment the Istanbul Leather Organized Industrial Zone, continued its investments in this region.
Over time, the group diversified the industrial sectors in which it operates and expanded its production facilities to a capacity of 60,000 m2.
Kopuzlar Group continues its industrial activities with its companies headquartered in Tuzla, Istanbul.
